Donations
We may accept donations through this website or through third-party payment platforms.

By making a donation, you confirm that:

-
the donation is made voluntarily;
-
the payment details you provide are true and authorised;
-
you understand that your donation will be used to support our charitable work, programs, operations, events, community initiatives, sponsorships, cultural programs, or other purposes aligned with our charitable objects;
-
unless stated otherwise, donations are not made in exchange for goods, services, tickets, raffle entries, or other material benefits.

We will make reasonable efforts to use donations in line with the purpose promoted at the time of donation. However, where a specific program, campaign, or initiative changes, becomes unavailable, is fully funded, or is no longer practical, we may redirect funds to another charitable purpose or community-led initiative that aligns with our organisation’s mission.

If tax deductibility applies, this will be stated clearly on the relevant donation page or receipt.

Payments for event tickets, raffle tickets, auction items, merchandise, sponsorship packages, or other purchases may not be tax deductible if you receive a benefit in return.

You are responsible for seeking your own tax advice in relation to any donation, sponsorship, or payment made to us.
Donation Refunds
As donations are voluntary contributions to our charitable work, we generally do not provide refunds for change of mind.

However, we may consider refund requests where:

-
a donation was made in error;
-
the wrong amount was entered;
-
there was an unauthorised transaction;
-
a duplicate payment was processed;
-
we are legally required to provide a refund.
-

Refund requests should be made in writing to admin@beonecollective.org.au as soon as possible and include your name, donation date, amount, payment method, and reason for the request.

Approved refunds will usually be returned to the original payment method, where possible.
Fundraising Campaigns
From time to time, we may run fundraising campaigns, online appeals, community drives, events, sponsorship opportunities, raffles, auctions, or other fundraising activities.

We aim to provide accurate and transparent information about our fundraising activities, including the purpose of the campaign, how funds may be used, and any relevant conditions.

Where a fundraising activity is subject to permits, licences, state or territory fundraising laws, raffle laws, gaming laws, venue rules, or third-party platform requirements, we will take reasonable steps to comply with those obligations.

We reserve the right to modify, pause, cancel, or close a fundraising campaign where required for operational, legal, cultural, community, safety, or practical reasons.
Event Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Event details may change due to circumstances beyond our control, including venue issues, cultural obligations, Sorry Business, weather, safety concerns, speaker availability, community needs, illness, public health directions, supplier issues, or other operational reasons.

Where an event is postponed, cancelled, or materially changed, we will communicate with ticket holders using the contact details provided at the time of purchase.

Refunds for event tickets will depend on the event terms, the nature of the cancellation or change, and applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated:
-
tickets may be transferable with written approval from us;
-
change-of-mind refunds are not guaranteed;
-
booking fees or third-party processing fees may not be refundable where those fees are charged by external providers;
-
refunds may not be available where a person is refused entry or removed due to unsafe, unlawful, or disrespectful conduct.
